Mommafied Gone Good

I was a guest on the World Gone Good podcast, which highlights “unique stories from incredible everyday people, making the world a little bit better each and every day.”

What does a beekeeper, pet rescuer, soul caretaker, yoga master, and 2 dads who create cookies for caregivers all have in common? Each of them are committed to dishing out positivity and sprinkling good throughout their communities. They are also all podcast guests on World Gone Good.

The podcast is created and hosted by Steve Silverman. His mission is to “turn the light on in the darkness and spread the good.” Before Steve generously asked me to be a guest on his joyful podcast, I was already a fan. I’d heard his interview with Kristy Hinds, a life and business coach, on 'How To Find Happiness in 3 Minutes. I’d soaked up eco-friendly organization tips from Kesia Hosking, of The Green Domestic Fairy, a guest from London. I’d also wondered if I could make Steve’s mom’s mandel bread—a recipe that she kindly shared for listeners to delight in.

Steve is a master at highlighting “unique stories from incredible everyday people, making the world a little bit better each and every day.“ Share more good! It’s a simple concept, sure. But—WOW as we all continue to recover from all that was 2020, it’s never been more apparent how much a podcast like this is needed. Steve’s World Gone Good podcast is a true jewel. It’s entertaining, sometimes wildly funny, and leaves you feeling like apple cider—warm and cozy, with a hint of inspirational fire lit within.

I’m humbled to be among a list of cool, quirky, and enterprising guests who are dedicated to carving out a bit of good daily. I started Mommafied as a way to inspire busy moms to step into their own power and lead healthier, more whole lives. In the “Mommafied Gone Good” episode we talk about that. “She share tips and tools on mindfulness, meditation, keeping your sanity and not losing your true self,” Steve says. He chats with me about living a good life, raising little humans in the midst of a pandemic, tips for surviving motherhood, and the comedy of it all.

You can also show Steve and his show some love by following the World Gone Good podcast on Instagram. He releases new shows every Wednesday. For the month of May, or as he calls it “A-May-Zing May, he’s releasing 2 episodes weekly. My episode is paired opposite of Mommy Tonk, an LA-based musical comedy duo that sings hilarious songs about motherhood. So much good to be spread around! Thanks Steve! And thank y’all for reading.
