The Healing Power of a Mom's Spa Day
Spa Days are…
More than indulgence—they’re a form of restoration and quiet resistance.
Ever look back at old pictures and think about how good things used to be? I found myself looking at shots recently with the same feeling. Before our beautiful City of Angels was on fire, before DEI became a bad word, before we knew how different life may feel to many of us at this time.
As uncertainty looms, there's also a powerful counterforce— an outpouring of love, art, activism, and solidarity holding our communities together.
Was grateful to co-host a spa day with the lovely Village Moms group.
Pedi time!
For my circle that looks like seeking everyday pockets of joy, reassessing what truly matters, being more intentional about how we treat each other and our environment. It's about recognizing who we can count on, what we consume, and who we purchase from (or don't).
Leaning into community is key. Intentional living is more clarified. I see this season as an opportunity to rebuild with love, grounding ourselves in purpose and connection.
Our gift bags featured body scrub and sage bundles from our wellness shop.
Body Crush Studio was amazing & mom-owned!
One way that we have poured love into the community lately was by co-hosting a Wellness Spa Day for Moms at Body Crush Studio in Los Angeles. Moms enjoyed relaxing massages, body wraps, v-steams, manis, and facials, while sharing laughs, good conversations, and healing food; a much needed space for sisterhood.

The gratitude was palpable:
"My spirit was running sooo low. Y'all really gave me all the energy and vibes today."
"...Today was epic. You mamas fed my soul in these crazy times!"
"I needed this time more than I even realized!"
More of this!
Beautiful day with our community!
In these interesting times, spa days are more than indulgence—they’re a form of restoration and a special kind of holistic care that is not only needed for our body, but also our mind and spirit. Restoration is resistance within itself, no matter what you need freeing from. Intentional rest helps regulate the nervous system, soften chronic stress, and create space to simply be instead of constantly doing. Taking a solo or and collective exhale reminds us that in the midst of juggling and processing all of the things, our well-being is golden, too.
