Tired Of The Hamster Wheel? Here's How One Mom Got Off

Have you ever started the day excited about your goals, but felt deflated by the end because nothing was accomplished? Typical day in the life of a busy mom; where finding balance is hard, and self-care goes out the window once the kids wake up, coffee runs out, and life begins. Marissa Franco, a Georgia-based business executive and mom of two, can relate. She felt stuck when the pandemic hit and her hamster wheel kicked into overdrive—neglecting her commitment to fitness, her mental health and dreams. “I got entrenched and in a dark place mentally, where I felt like I wasn’t in control of myself or my goals.” Change came in the form of a self-development tool that helped her transform her daily juggle into a life of clarity and abundance.  READ MORE

Work-Life Balance Tips & Making Space For Wellness At Work

According to CNBC, 10 million of 35 million working women in the U.S. are suffering from workplace burnout. Over 3 million left the labor market in 2020, alone. How to Rebuild Your Wardrobe After Having A Baby

When I was young, single, and living that Carrie Bradshaw life in NYC— I splurged on a new outfit after every paycheck. Fast forward a decade, two kids, and two cross country moves later, I can barely escape the house wearing clean clothes— let alone anything cute or trendy. These days my trusty go-tos are sweats. But you know what the late designer Karl Lagerfield says? “Sweatpants are a sign of defeat. You lost control of your life so you bought some sweatpants.” Ha! I see no lies there. To give myself some self-care and reign in control of my fashion life, I connected with my friend—Rebecca Brie. The celebrity fashion stylist gave me some cohesive tips on how to rebuild my wardrobe—starting at square one. She has some dynamic tips that may help you too: READ MORE
